The Talking Machine Forum — For All Antique Phonographs & Recordings

I recently purchased a project Fairy Lamp. I would like to know how they were finished. I've seen them highly polished brass and bronze. Did they leave the factory as such or is that the quick way to make them presentable? Thanks for your replies.

Thanks for the link. I actually used the search feature and did not get anything useful. Perhaps my spelln wasn't two good.
