FOUND: Copy of Allan Sutton's book on Edison Blue Amberols

As I understand it, the book covers the blue amberols from the beginning and through the end of the run in 1929. As a diamond disc guy, I'd like to get better educated on these cylinders.

You might want to contact Mainspring Press to see if they have any copies left. Unfortunately, they have stopped producing books and also lost a lot of inventory to water damage. Mainspring also sells books on ebay under the name "mspbooks". They sold a "hurt" copy of the book you are looking for as recently as September. Full price is $75, but the "hurt" copies were $40.

definitely find one. They are worth every penny, containing a wealth of information as are the 4 min wax and 2 min Sutton books.

I just uncovered several early books on Edison records. I can check to see if this is part of the group.

I'd hold out for the hard cover 2009 Edison. It as all the foreign issues and has more details about the recordings than does the paperback from about 2005.
