This is a Public Service Announcement for those who have Phonolamps, Modernolas, Capitols, etc. in need of an appropriate lampshade. My friend Fran Pratt found this web site, and I thought I should pass it along:
http://www.lampshademaker.com/
Again, I have no connection to this business; just sharing the information.
Best of luck to all,
George P.

Thanks George, there's a Fairy and Modernola on my projects list plus they are located near Oregon.

Thanks George, this is a great opportunity for others here to share links to their favorite antique lamp parts suppliers. I'll be needing a couple of period correct lampshades in the near future, and Hannah's website is very compelling!
Others I've recently used:
https://www.antiquelampsupply.com/ (parts) and
https://www.houseofantiquehardware.com/ (bulbs) and
http://vintagewireandsupply.com/ (wire) for a couple of my recent period lighting projects.
Pseudo (to code) "knob and tube" swag-style chandelier in the audio room. This fixture is original to our house, and was likely installed when electricity came to town and the house had a large scale renovation and expansion done early in the 20th century. I had removed it along with all the original wiring and few other ceiling fixtures in the 80s when I gutted the downstairs -- myself and Sharon, that is:
The carbon "1890 double loop" filament bulbs I used:

A recent bridge lamp I restored to its original finish scheme with vintage electrical parts and new 18 ga. wiring.
Best regards,
Fran

Fran, where do you get the repro double-loop bulbs? The antique-look bulbs I've seen at places likes Lamps Plus and Target don't have this original look to them.

I found them at House of antique hardware
https://www.houseofantiquehardware.com/ ... ight-bulbs
They're a little pricey, though (to say the least), I used 30W bulbs, but be advised these carbon filament bulbs aren't comparable to their tungsten cousins! They only put out light that should be thought of in candle power.
Best,
Fran

Thank you very much, and I will check it out!
