Wanted: Columbia Grafonola D2 Governor Weights and Springs

My Columbia Grafonola D2T080806 threw a governor weight off and I'm trying to find a replacement for it. I've attached a picture of the governor and the remaining two weights as an example of what I need. The screwholes are 2" apart. Any assistance finding either one similar weight or a set of three for proper balance would be much appreciated. If you think this is wishful thinking and I should just try to have some replacements machined, please let me know that as well. Thanks.

George Vollema should have exactly what you need. Send him an email: victrola "at" triton "dot" com.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've contacted him, as well as Shenandoah Antique. We'll see if either of them can help me out.

I never heard back from George Vollema, but Gary from Shenandoah machined a new spring and put the thrown weight on it for me for $16.50 shipping included. Strangely, and this is why I mentioned in another post that I'm no longer sure if I have a Columbia Grafonola or not, the springs he had in stock for Columbias were the wrong size, so he had to make one.

That is definately a Columbia governor and oil tubes in the photo. Those old governor weights and springs are a pain, they are riveted on just like heineman and motor of quality used in alot of different off-brand machines. I prefer Victrola myself anyday, thats why I do not collect Columbia disc machines, its just a preference but put my 1 cent in.
