I like the looks of the Gramophone 'bottom right' in the photograph.
I wonder what it is ?

I notice that there are also two horns at the auction and wonder if one may fit the Gramophone ?

It is an HMV "Cockleshell" Monarch made between 1904 and 1910, so called because of the shell motif on the case.
The red Morning Glory horn in the first picture belongs to it, yet the auctioneers have catalogued it separately. Will they never learn?

Amazing ! Thank you very much for the information epigramophone.
I am just imagining buying that at auction for £ 20 - I think I need to sit down

I may be wrong but I think that the gramophones went for £ 190 and the horns for £ 220.
If so, I am thinking "Wow what bargains !".
I wonder if anyone on here bought them ? I would love to know the condition of the Cockleshell which I think (maybe wrongly) can sell for over one thousand pounds ?
