I purchased this cabinet with these cylinders at
a farm auction. I was wondering if it looks
homemade or if anyone has seen a cabinet like this.
There are four "dimples" on the top that the players
bottom feet fit into. My guess this one is built for
an Amberola X. Anybody seen one?

Seems like I've seen one of these before, it looks like it was an inexpensive factory-built product. I remember the dimples in the top, for (I thought) an Amberola 30. That's not to say that an enterprising small-town carpenter couldn't have built one, but the panel effect on the sides looks more "factory" than "home-brew" to me.

Interesting... I have a similar one. Actually it was given to me free at one of the past Wayne MME's. I guessed it was homemade.
