FOUND: Gold U-tube, threaded crank for Victor VTLA dome top
Good afternoon all. I need the U-tube for a gold plated Victor tonearm. The arm is from a VTLA, but should be the same as for a rear mount Victor. Here is a photo of the VTLA I need it for. I am also looking for a crank for it, which should be threaded. Thanks!

Re: WANTED: Gold U-tube, slotted crank for Victor VTLA
Are you sure someone hasn't changed something in that motor? Someone may have twisted the old shaft off, and put a pin in what remained. Victor went to a threaded crank with the flat top Pooley cabinets, and your machine is later than that. You should post a picture of the motor that's in it. Those are nice looking machines and there are some variations on the cabinet over the production run. Good luck with it now, Earl.

Re: WANTED: Gold U-tube, slotted crank for Victor VTLA
I found out this morning that it takes a threaded crank. The machine will not be here until tomorrow so I have not seen it physically yet. But for the price I couldn't refuse!EarlH wrote:Are you sure someone hasn't changed something in that motor? Someone may have twisted the old shaft off, and put a pin in what remained.
