Wow that is neat looking. You are selling your house short, i'm sure you can squeeze this in there someplace
The seller says, "I have not cranked it up" that is code word for "I have cranked it and it did not work".

Exactly "I lost the crank is another red flag"

I may check on this later today and then plead it would be a nice
stocking stuffer......My wife suggested renting a storage unit, not good! Bill K

This may be a British made machine, as there was a fashion over here for barley twist legs on cabinets in the late 1920's.
The Beltona pictured bottom right below is a typical example.

Still listed for $100. Listing states the machine has an English Maxitone tone & reproducer arm.

Yes the machine could be a Maxitone, what Americans call an "off brand" and we in the UK call an "assembled" gramophone i.e. assembled from bought in components.
