Latest Craigslist Find Oak Edison A-100 w/ Record Drawer

Found this Oak Edison DD A-100 with optional record storage box on Craigslist. It was near Rockford, IL (about 2 ½ hours north of me). It plays well, but someone glopped a coat of dark varnish on it many years ago, Not sure whether to blend it in or refinish to original.
