This one has spring motor and electric light. Owner alteration?

The light is not in the factory location.
I'd saw owner or dealer added.

I had a Victrola XVI from the same era 4-5 years ago that had a dealer installed lamp in a spring wound machine. Before Victor let the dealer set the sales price on machines, they could add something like a lamp or other 'free' stuff to make a sale over another dealer in town that didn't do that. There was a music store in Chicago that installed a light in the spool box or lamps on both sides of the front on player pianos he sold to get customers. I also had a Credenza that was spring wound with a lamp under the lid. It even had the switch on the lid prop. But the XVI lamp had one of those pull chains to turn it on.
