A250 Record Storage Problem

Well it's taken me quite a while, but the lower drawer on my A250 is almost full. I put all my records in paper sleeves which the lower drawer accommodates quite well. The top drawer however won't allow for the paper sleeves even with the bottom corners cut off. Does anyone have a solution that would permit record storage in paper sleeves on the top drawer? I have seen that later machines had fabric lined storage, but I don't think I want to permanently affix fabric to the dividers which are original to the machine. Thanks.
