I found a Ferno-O-Grand shell in a thrift store. Someone (in the 30's or so had adapted an RCA tube model 111 chassis to it and removed the "flaps" in front and the inner workings up to the last hours segment in front. I will be posting decent pics soon. Paid $150 for it. Not a bad cabinet. I think this thing deserves a resurrection of some sort but I am not certain it could be done perfectly. There is another topic here I started. Obviously aany help would be appreciated. Thanks

Where are you located? I have a friend near Charlotte, NC who has Fern-O-Grand that needs restoring and has most of the parts - he is on the Forum and his user name is Fonograph. Between the two, you could have a complete machine... and I am willing to bet that he would sell his reasonably...
