Need advice on reproducer dissassembly

I'm trying to replace the gaskets on a double-sided Ultona. I've got the four little screws out on the non-Edison side, so far, and loosened the sound bar but I can't get the ring out to get at the gaskets.
Suggestions please.
Thanks.

A lot of those are made of pot metal. They swell, stick and usually break when you try to remove them.

Unfortunately that size mica diaphragm isn’t available unless you cut your own out of sheet mica, and you run the risk of finding good quality mica for the job. So it must be done carefully. I make tools that act like a slide hammer to slowly tap the bezels out. Is the bezel cracked at all?

I made a video series on rebuilding the Ultona on YouTube.

On mine, the old gaskets basically glued everything together, so I used some kerosene to soften them up.

Dave, no cracks. It does not appear to be pot metal.

Wes, thanks for the video for the Edison side,
Where is your video for the lateral side?
Thanks,
Marty

If you click on the "okbridges" icon below the video it will take you to Wes's youtube channel with all the video's in the series.
AND I just finished watching most of them with my simpler [no Edison side] soon to be rebuilt Ultona in hand.
Thanks a bunch Wes for those! Having never done one before those are going to save me a lot of time and answered a few questions I didn't even know I was going to have
Cheers
Darrell
PS - That crap was snow ... we have a load of it up here in Nova Scotia right now with more on the way ... and we love it just as much

Now, the upper rubber gasket broke out so the diaphragm is loose in the reproducer. BUT, the bezel will not come loose. This is all on the lateral side. If I try to pry it loose, I cannot press up on it from the inside because that would be pressing against the mica diaphragm and, I do not want to do that.
Anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
