Hi everyone, I am looking for a set of 3 governor springs for my Triumphon portable phonograph. I believe it is a Swiss motor. See photos. I am also including a photo of the size I need. The hole sizes are 1/16". Unfortunately I do not have the thickness measurement but I need them on the thinner side. My current ones are too thick which is causing speed issues. Please let me know if you can help! Thanks!!

I would suggest removing a good governor spring from your machine and sending it to Ron Sitko. I bet he can match what you have or come very close. Governor springs are cheap so buy a complete set so your machine is balanced. Jerry Blais

Jerry, I need a set of three. I actually got 2 sets from Ron Sitko with the proper size. However they are too thick which is causing the speed indicator to be ultra sensitive. (I move the speed arm ⅛" or so and it goes to like 90-100rpm with minimal movement). Thanks.

Walt Sommers http://www.victrolaguy.com/ made me a new set of springs for an Excelda last year. I sent him one good one and he sent me back 5 new springs (in case one or two failed in the future). They worked perfectly. Quick and painless.

FYI,

Matt
