Hi there everybody. Brand new to this wonderful world. Made a post earlier about my newly acquired Grafonola and an issue I found. Was so excited regarding my new acquisition I didn't even introduce myself to the forum. Names Trevor from Edmonton Alberta Canada. Hoping some of you can enlighten me, need some help identifying my Grafonola. The Label is no longer so I'm not sure how to ID it. Believe it is a three spring as there are three spring canisters on the motor. Found a stamp on the plate as seen on the photo. Any help is surely appreciated. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. Thanks everyone.

I believe that model was called the "Favorite" at one time? They changed the designation at one point or another.

Hope you can get it running. The parts should be easy to find. A triple-spring motor has a lot of torque so it will play a good stack of records on one winding (using a new needle after each play, of course.)

Beautiful little machine, and we all hope you can get it going right.

Thanks. It does wind up as I was able to get a single crank before the shaft and crank gear popped as noted in my first post. I'll have to source the winding shaft as the keyway on it looks damaged and won't hold the key in place. Luckily the gear is fine. Is there any one specific parts company to contact? Have found a few online.

Hi Trevor,

I don't know if you've checked our "links" section yet or not, but George Vollema is one of our "goto" parts suppliers. I think he is closed until April, however. Here's a link to his website https://www.victroladoctor.com

Best,
Fran
