Early Primitive phonograph horn and stand

Hello all
I've been dusting my machines and room today which I do from time to time and I thought I would share this. I picked this up 20 years ago at an auction here in Melbourne, Australia. My thoughts are this is an early locally made phonograph horn and crane. The flare is in two pieces and not one as you might expect. The metal is very thin and the horn quite light in weight. The horn is 23" (60cm) long and bell diameter 11" (28cm)
regards
Stephen
