Is the tonearm unique to this model? The gold finish looks worn off the top.

The tonearm is the usual gold Victrola tone arm. This machine isn't far from me but I just don't have the space and I can't justify another. I wouldn't refinish it, a typical careful cleaning would probably make a world of difference with this one, I've certainly cleaned much worse.

So I was all set to go pick this up tomorrow only to find out someone (probably from here) bought the record duster that was with it. The machine is still available and I'm rather pissed because I had made a deal...
Poop happens and people are greedy because I wanted to kee p it togther but there it is....

I cancelled.
It's still a nice deal, but the history is gone without the duster now, so someone else can have it.....I should have grabbed it early on, but I didn't. Oh well, greed wins again and a pair breaks up after nearly 100 years.

Well, at least it wasn't a forum member that scooped it. Looks more like a well established dealer in that area.
