Jerry and DeeDee stopped by and visited with us today and it was wonderful. We’ve known one another since the 1980’s and for my money he’s the most stand-up guy in the hobby, or one of em anyway. Our visit was relatively brief because they needed to put some miles between them and the approaching winter storm, but it was so good to see them. I’m sure that anyone who knows Jerry feels the same way.

It is good to be able to visit other collectors when traveling.

Sounds like you dodged a bullet. Last time Jerry "Grim Reaper" Blais visited me, he helped me break my damn back.

And then, as I lay in agony on the ground, he stood over me and asked whether he should be taking photos of it all, to document it for the Forum. He was indeed standing up at that time, so, yeah.

Despite this, yes, I also respect and adore him, but gee whiz.
