SOLD: Original Horn Crane Cylinder Machine - $275

Post by Crank_it_up »

I'm offering a beautiful nickel plated horn crane. It was possibly re-plated at some point but shows some oxidation and rust on the upper rod. Since cranes are rarely found in this great condition let's assume it has been re-plated at some time. I have not polished it up, I'll leave it up to the next owner. It looks great as it sits now. Shipping will be $15 within the Continental USA. NO PayPal, checks and Money orders only. If anyone can positively identify the manufacturer please post. Thanks, Joe

That's a Tea Tray Company No.200.

APS members can read an article covering all the Tea Tray Co. cranes in the September 2011 issue of The Sound Box.

By the way, the upper assembly installed is upside-down in the top of the vertical piece.

Thanks, George.
Yes, do not try mounting it like this with a horn that you care about!

Do not try mounting "like this"? Which way do you mean Joe? :monkey:

This is the correct way for set up. In the original post you can see that if the eye-bolt in the "knee joint" was not tight the upper rod could fall out the bottom causing mayhem. Thanks again, George for pointing it out. How about a price drop to $275. thanks, Joe
