Proper crane and horn for a 1901 Edison "suitcase" home.

I got the itch to find a horn and crane set up for my suitcase home. Unsure as to what would be correct for the time period and model. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you wish to stick to a strict 1901 time frame, you're limited to a floor crane such as a Halliday or one of the several styles of Hawthorne & Sheble floor cranes:

...or a cabinet-mounted crane like a Hawthorne & Sheble No.4.

Your horn in 1901 would have been a trumpet-shape (like the one illustrated above), either all-brass or possibly one of the new black body/brass bell models. 1901 might be a tad early for the black & brass, but who's going to complain? But no flower horns in 1901.

I have a early 24" "flat seam" horn that is available if you deem it appropriate. It also has a very elegant "D" shaped hanger ring. Sorry but I do not have a crane for it. Please reach out via PM, Email or phone if you would like more images. The horn is $200 thanks! John 860-966-2827
