I'm unpacking and going through phonographs that I had stored for years, I have a Kompakt Portable with a generic Orthophonic type reproducer. Does anyone know what the correct reproducer would be? Are they marked, or plain? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

They used generic pot metal swiss reproducers which slipped onto the arm & tightened with a screw. Some of the arms I've seen on these Plaza machines have bayonet slots which suggests that there was an oportunity to upgrade to something better, like an Exhibition.

Thanks for the info. Any idea what these reproducers looked like?

My photos are not very good, especially the one through the glass, but they should help. The reproducer is marked "Exposition" and made in Germany. Jerry Blais

Thanks Jerry for the pictures. I do have that Exposition for my Kompakt. Now my machine is complete. What is the black reproducer that I see? Did that come with the machine? I have that same reproducer in a dull nickel. That came with my machine.
