I bought a crank from eBay for my Standard Model X but unfortunately, I wasted my money and bought the wrong crank. It’s too small the fit on the winding shaft. Does anyone have a fall off crank that fits a Standard Talking Machine Model X they don’t need? (Or an early Columbia front mount machine lol) I’m kinda mad at myself that I didn’t go here first before running off to eBay.

I don’t know exactly... I’m not great at measurements...

Most measurements on old phonographs are pretty standardized. Go get a set of crescent wrenches and slip them over the shaft. If, for example, a 5/16" wrench fits, then you'll know.

If you don't have a set of wrenches I would go and get a ruler. Digital calipers are cheap & handy to keep around, too.
