If anyone is interested, I bought this L-door XVI for the record boxes. I will pick it up in PA on Saturday, April 13th and if someone wants it, I can hand it off in the parking lot at Wayne on Sunday, April 14th, otherwise is goes home to the black hole for service and some refreshing. The motor is not running and I have not seen the machine in person yet. The price is $350.00 firm, (the parts are worth more than that).
Machine only, (not the storage boxes). Please let me know if you are interested.
Sold it to myself. It was a gift, from me to me.

looks like the drawer is damaged and the tray may be missing... I have an extra one of each from another mahogany version of this machine for sale that I can bring to the show if anyone is interested.

Thanks. The drawer is damaged. The shelf is there, but is either pushed in too far or the back piece is missing. I had to replace the back of the shelf on my Oak L-door. It is tongue and groove and was not difficult.
If I didn't already have an Oak L-door, I would be keeping this one. Mine is an Oak, "C" and this is a "B", with the VTLA type raised motor board and tone arm bracket. It should be a nice machine without a huge effort. Going by the serial number, it was built in 1909.

I have decided to bring this machine home and keep it. L-door Victrolas are one of my favorites and this one has some nice, early features. I would rather pull the listing than regret the sale. Sorry for the tease.
