Hello everyone!
I am in the market for a phonograph to play my "Little wonders".
The Garford baby is nice but I will consider other small units.
Thanks,
Kirk

Hi Kirk,
Why not use a Columbia or a Victrola? Most tiny phonos don't sound very good to begin with, and eat records.
Granted, they do make a neat display together. There is even a 1914 Little Wonder that basically looks like a morning-glory horn grown into a Nirona.
But if you want good sound & longer record life, if I was you I would just use a big regular phonograph. They're just standard-groove 78s.
Just 2 cents, adjust for inflation,
Charles F.

Why Charles?
Because I want something small and displayable. I don't want to have to break out the big boys to play these little records. I can easily carry and move these little guys and being small means I will not get bitched at for putting it out, lol. I wont be playing these records 5x a day and I don't really care about the sound so it is a win win..
Thanks for the link...
If my current deal falls through I will check it out.

I agree with Kirk. These little machines are great and fun. I do not think anyone buys them to be their new "workhorse" machine. That being said, after I get all the "big" machines I want I will start hunting down the toy ones too.
Good luck Kirk.
