I have a nice little Victor II, III, IV, or V crank and it needs a new handle. How do I get the metal portion off to slide on a new wood crank handle?

Jerry, The pin is peened on the handle. You'll have to carefully file it down. Then you'll have to punch it out. Then you can either braze it or use ACC to hold it in place. If you don't want to go that far, you can uses an Exacto knife back saw and cut the length of the knob. The kerf has to be fine. A Dremel tool might work, but it has the be done slowly. Then use a small rat tail file to compensate the kerf. Then glue the two halves together.

Repaired! Thank you Harvey and the Forum. I followed Harvey's suggestion, found a perfect knob and secured with JB Weld.
