No pictures, but I will give my take of the auction.
As usual Stanton's 3 day auction was great. And the free dinner on Thursday is always a good start.
There was something for everyone from parts and restored machines to excellent original machines. From common to rare ultra machines.
Over all I thought the phonograph prices were strong. The good original stuff and rare items, very strong.
Over all the DD machines and the bulk cylinders and records were cheap. Common upright Victrola's were soft.
The auction was very well attended and at times all chairs looked full with others walking around. Plus he had a stack of absentee bids about 2 ½" high. On one item I noticed 4 phone bidders plus the house bidders.
The location is large with plenty of large doors to get your stuff out for easy loading.
I've been lucky and spoiled to be able to attend Stanton's auctions for close to 30 years now.
Of the items I dragged home this time, this was my favorite.

Another highlight...The Eldridge Johnson toy with original record went for $18K hammer price.
Music box prices were weak. Wholesale prices on most common machines...dealers loaded up.

Who got my monkey? My absentee bid was outbid by $50. Very surprised somebody wanted it more than Vic the Monk. Otherwise, I am appreciative of the items I did win, CW VTLA, Gothic Actuelle, Stuffed Nipper, and the HMV Jigsaw Puzzle.
