Any information about this horn would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like the horn / speaker from a 1950s / 1960s Guild electric machine.

This appears to be a horn from a Guild Grafonola of the mid-1950s.

Well, a bit disappointed with the horn but not with the speed the three of you have responded! Thanks.

I had one of the Guild "Grafonolas" last year which I donated to a local thrift store bazaar. There should be a small electrodynamic speaker down in the throat of the horn.

Oddly enough, I spotted one of these Guild Grafonolas at an estate sale the other weekend, which was neat (along with one of my worst enemies which was not neat.)

Not very nice to look at (both machine & enemy.)

I'd rather look at real Columbia machines.

About 20 years ago, a guy I worked with who knew I collected vintage phongraphs alerted me about an "old record player with a big horn" for sale at a secondhand furniture shop. So I hightailed it down to the shop only to discover the machine in question was one of these Guild abominations. Imagine my disappointment.
