I haven't seen the annual posts from the Phono-holic's pilgrimage from Oregon on their way to Union. :( :(

My understanding is that ever since Jerry's discovery and installation of a Romulan Cloaking Device, they have gone into stealth mode.

Also, they are now known as the Phono-Ninjas. Their reign of terror begins.

This is thus the final stage of their insidious plot to silently and tenaciously sweep the nation's attics and antique stores clean of all the stuff we used to think we wanted instead.

Discuss further at risk of vaporization, or worse, Death By Uncle Josh. Resistance is futile.

I heard they had some car troubles and found this mechanic to work on it. I wonder why it took so long to fix it?

All of us are in suspense. We need to see the travelogue. Are you guys going to post the events, like the ice cream parlor, the big ball of string, and the numerous other attractions? How about the shots of the truck and trailer showing the goodies, you are taking to Union. Maybe some videos will heighten the experience. Looking forward to seeing them!!!!!

Good question? Where are we? Stan is a lousy navigator...

It's been a really good trip but places that were possible photo opportunities had cloud cover and parts of Montana had a fair amount of smoke from fires in Canada. It's also been a trip with a fair amount of work. We picked up things for Abe and a small collection for Mike in Montana. Even a small collection can take up a serious amount of space in a cargo trailer. Then we raced towards Minneapolis where I picked up two old Schwinn bikes and a Victor V project. I'm sure Stan will comment about the bikes. It's been a fun trip with good friends.

Here are a few pictures from our trip. The first morning we stopped at a lovely city park in Arlington, Oregon for a rest stop. They had very nice roses.

From there we continued to a really odd place to pick up some radio parts being delivered to Union. It was just west of Spokane, Washington and rather entertaining.

We ended up that day in Ronan, Montana where we picked up a small collection of phonographs, horns, and assorted other things for delivery to Union. Montana was beautiful, but as Jerry said, the smoke made some of the beauty fade. But the drive between I 90 and Ronan is spectacular. The valley between and around towering mountains is really something to see.

Perhaps it was payback for tying Stan to the huge ball of twine last year or maybe it was the result of locking him in a cell at the Wyoming Territorial Prison or some other minor infraction but he has found the ultimate form of revenge. Yes, I woke up to Stan playing his clarinet. I found out you don't mess with the little fellow. The photo is dark but you get the idea. I'll do my best to avoid any future phono nerd abuse.
