I was able to add a few more American Talking Machine records to round out my Vitaphone collection.

Very nice! Vitaphones are interesting records. That's a great display. 
The Vitaphone wasn't launched until mid-1899, and it wasn't until April 1900 that Albert T. Armstrong was informed that Columbia had switched its patent protection to the Universal Talking Machine Company (Zonophone). You can read about this on pages 72, 73 and 75 of The Talking Machine Compendium.
Some of the same principals involved in Vitaphone had launched (in a limited way) the Wonder Talking Machine in 1898. The two operations were somewhat related, but not the same.

They are the 7 inch American Talking Machine records in the distinctive brick red color , many of which were pirated copies of Berliner records.fmblizz wrote:Congrat's….. what size are those records??
