WANTED: Early VE light socket for XVIII --internal parts

Hi- Wanted-- A light socket internal part for the XVIII I'm restoring.

I posted earlier today seeking information about the bulb-- However, as I got into the socket, I discovered it had been repaired at some point in the past. I can likely make it work, but would much prefer to find a socket in good condition. Small candelabra base.

Perhaps someone has a socket in their parts piles...or knows of a source. Please see pics for the part I need. I show the socket as installed-- but if I can find the internal parts, that's all I really need.

Thanks-

Brad Abell

All the Victor's I've seen have had the Hubbel sockets with the Acorn pull. And I think the bulbs were frosted in 1915.

Thanks for the info- I'm definitely in "learning mode". The socket pictured is original to the machine- Replies I received to an earlier post under "Machines" indicated that the 1915 machine would have a clear bulb. So... I'm open to a definitive answer... but in the meantime-- I would like to find a socket in good condition-

Thanks-
Brad

Search eBay for Singer sewing machine work lights. They used these small candelabra sockets.

Thanks Jerry- That's a great lead. I'm sure GE used the same internal parts in other sockets.. Still hoping a Forum member has what I need. :)
