Seller states in the listing that the case and the coin-op mech are reproduction. Looks nice, but I think the only original parts are a basic Home machine-

Yes, everything is reproduction, including a new (brass) casting for the reproducer carriage to make it a proper top-mount. The serial number is too late for an H coin-op. It's actually a Model A mechanism, not a suitcase Home as original. The coin parts are nothing like the originals.

(The paper sign is actually an original. A pile of these old stock signs were offered by a dealer at Union in years past. Someone mated a nice old sign with a completely replica machine.)

This machine has been around for a bit. I'm glad it's now being accurately represented as a replica.

If you're referring to the curlicues carved into the signboard at the top, those are actually pretty well-rendered. Each machine was hand-carved so there are minor variations in the design, but they were inherently crude decorations.

The case of the replica appears well-made, but fails in some details (notably the carving around the front panel). Someone put real effort into this — at least for the cabinet. The mechanism and the coin parts, not so much...
