In absolutely gorgeous E+ condition, this is a VERY elusive Edison Diamond Disc that has always been (and still remains!) in great demand for most Diamond Disc collectors. I bought this record way back in 1996 from Larry Mason, owner of Toad Hall Books & Records of Rockford, Illinois and I happily paid $200 for it. I have played it just once since that time. Larry told me that this was the finest example of this rarely found Diamond Disc that he'd ever found or seen. That was all I needed to hear recognizing that Larry was a long time collector, buyer and seller of vintage records.

If you've been searching for a near pristine example of this important and elusive late Edison Diamond Disc record #52444 featuring (what I consider!) a breath taking performance of "You're The Cream In My Coffee" Fox Trot by Golden Gate Orchestra then this one is for you. There is a tiny, tiny edge nibble on the Friedman side that is hardly worth mentioning. Anyway, there it is.

52444 - "YOU'RE THE CREAM IN MY COFFEE" - Fox Trot by Golden Gate Orchestra
-and- "DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE LIGHTS ARE LOW" - Fox Trot by Al Friedman and His Orchestra (Vocal by Tommy Weir)

PM with interest. Add $5 for USPS shipping to any USA address.

Thanks,
Doug

No Fair -- I was not home all day -- LOL! I knew Larry very well also and also got a lot of my best late issue Diamond Discs from him. Sad about his stroke then what happened after he died. None of the new owners wanted anything to do with his thousands of 78s. They contacted me a couple times to drive to Toad Hall and haul away as many as I wanted for pennies. By then I was no longer buying in bulk. Norman, if you got this one to master another cylinder; keep me in mind if you decide to sell the disc afterwards. Best! Mark Roberts.
