I bid on (and won) this phonograph case, which includes a motor, as a restoration project. I got it for $195 and it was advertised as a Vic I. However, comparing photos of Vic I phonographs, this one doesn't really seem to be one. For starters, the plate on this one is on the front and not the side.
What do you think? Did I make a mistake bidding on this?

Yes, I believe it's a Victor I. The ID plates moved about a bit over time. Jerry B.
