This must be the best condition portable gramophone I've had, it's not 100% mint, but it's certainly above average condition, the plating is in incredible condition, the turntable felt is mint, some checking on the motor board paint but still shiny, the outer covering is also very good, one nick on one corner, other than that, it's excellent.

The leather has unfortunately deteriorated from the carry handle, but replacements are available, likewise the record tray is missing.
aside from that it is an incredible machine.

It is unusual in that it has the badge from the store it was originally sold in, J.G. Windows in Newcastle

The soundbox has the original rubbers still, they were still soft and didn't need anything doing to them.
The motor runs steady and quiet, it sounds good and you're unlikely to find a better example

£125 + shipping

The record album which fits inside the lid appears to be missing, but examples appear occasionally on eBay. The albums were made in two different widths, a narrower one for the Columbia 201 and a wider one for the 202, so if you find one ask the seller to measure it before committing to bid.

For the 202, the album should measure ten and three quarter inches wide, and for the 201, ten and a quarter inches. the height is the same on both.
