The Talking Machine Forum — For All Antique Phonographs & Recordings

I’m looking for about any Harger & Blish advertising items, especially cylinder containers, trade cards, etc. They were a large jobber in Dubuque and expanded to Des Moines, Iowa from the late 1890’s - 1930’s. This six story building still stands today in downtown Des Moines. They had it built starting in 1920, after moving from various smaller down town locations, starting in 1908. The Army and Navy phonograph picture is from 1918, in front of one of the small down town Des Moines store locations, probably 811 Walnut St., a few years before their new building.
