Looking for someone to do a small run of small flat brass "stamped" parts. Maybe a 50 piece run to start.
If anyone has anyone in mind, Please post. The part will be absolutely flat and very simple to stamp.
Thanks,

If a die is required, a 50 piece run will be very expensive per part. Not knowing the shape or tolerances, I cannot be sure what your needs are, but a better option for a short run might be laser or water jet.

The modern way to do this is by water jet cutting and this is great for these sorts of numbers as there is no physical tooling and only programing costs.

Just exactly what do you mean by a "stamped" part??? Is there a shape or form to stamped into a piece of brass? Or, do you mean stamped, as in stamped letters or numbers? It would be best if you simply showed the part you're trying to have made.

What type of part do you need? If it is something simple, you might be able to scratch build one. I have done that many times from what I learned with model building.

I had worked at a stamping company (Stampings Inc. Mountainside, NJ), that did small run pieces----we did not make any parts for the company, only parts for other companies. We were sold out to a company and everything was moved to Rome, Georgia. I have no idea if they are still a working stamping house or not. There are still a few around here ---- Petersons, in Kenilworth, NJ. You can always try one for an estimate. Good Luck

The part is actually a Flat "Key" for a certain type of display case....and it is flat...absolutely no raised areas.

You want to check out a wire EDM company, or water jet cutting, or laser cutting. A laser cutting company would probably be best.
