Im trying to identify this reproducer- see attached pictures. I believe the Vic III

dates to 1912-1913 S/N 33986. The gaskets pictured are not original. I plan to rebuild

the reproducer using 3/32" tubing? Exibition tubing is to thick. The only I.D. on the

reproducer reads Pat. Jan. 21 1908.

I've never seen an accessory reproducer like that before.
The larger diaphragm reminds me of a Victrola #2.

I find two patents issued on Jan. 21, 1908 for reproducers. Number 877184 was issued to John C. English and was assigned to Victor. It covers the locking pin design to secure the reproducer to the tonearm. Number 877327 was issued to Charles F. Graham and was for a diaphragm made of "gelatine" (and shows a cylinder reproducer).

So the patent on that reproducer must refer to 877184, but it still leaves a huge question as to who actually made it, and why.
