This came in yesterday, Diamond Disc, is about 40 inches tall as is, but seems to have had legs cut off when inspecting, has anyone had a case like this or have the definitive answer? Thanks.

Pictures would help.

This sometimes happens when one or more legs get damaged, and the owner didn't want to bother fixing them.

It is not uncommon to find an A-100 with legs cut off. I've had one for years. Cheers, Russie

Yeah, but this machine is 40 inches tall according to the original post, so it couldn't be an A-100. I'm sure if we saw photos, we could ID the machine and any issues rather quickly.

Thanks all, no pre drilled holes for casters, owner was thinking he remembered a similar cabinet with @ 2 inch ball legs/feet and when we looked it almost appeared to have had been glued and screwed at one point in it's History. We're going to go with As Is

That is a Chippendale model Edison. I don't know how you got 40" for the height. It should be about 51" tall.

The Edison Chippendale C250/C19 was produced with 4 feltoid (hard pressed felt) casters.

There are plethora posts here on the Chippendale; if you use the convenient forum search feature you can find all the information you could ever need.

Best,
