This is wonderful news. I've been meaning to see this and honestly, I'd never have thought to look on Amazon video for it. Vince is such and talent, not to mention one helluva nice guy. It's an honor to be able to call him a friend.

I never heard of the band before. Watched a few You Tube Videos. Outstanding! Thanks for posting this.

It was late when I got home last night (around 10 p.m.). I logged on to my Prime account, thinking I would just at least start the documentary. Well, don't you know I couldn't stop until I'd finished it and ended up staying up past midnight, which I haven't done in a while!

I have been a fan of Vince's for some 25 years, and if you are a fan of the music, this is a well-done documentary. I recommend it highly. Vince and the late Rich Conaty, whom I listened to religiously on Sunday evenings (WFUV's "The Big Broadcast") were friends, and Rich would occasionally emcee -- and even sing -- at a few of Vince's shows at, I believe, The Iguana in NYC.

We watched this film last night. Nice insight into the life of a working band. I have seen Vince and the Nighthawks numerous times, as he is a frequent performer a the Bix Fest in Davenport, Iowa. I enjoy the band, but love when he works as a side-man. He brings out the best from everyone he performs with.

This channel is mostly about my brown wax studies and cylinder recording. I should have the videos from New York up in a month. Even have a 1997 trip to Union up.
