Repro grille for Edison Army Navy

There used to be a guy who made repro grilles for Edison DD machines. I can't find him in my searches, but I'm wondering if I could make my own grille out of a very thin piece of wood. The original Edison grille is made of thick sheet metal, but that would be hard to do by hand. I have an original Army Navy grille to use as a template, so I'm wondering if I could use a router to make the 24 vertical louvers easily?

Don Gfell sold those metal repros. I don't have his contact info but someone surely does.

Thanks, Bruce. He has a website called Sights and Sounds of Edison in Milan, OH. I just sent him an email.
Don told me that he sold all of the A-N grilles a long time ago.
