From my friend's collection...
I can deliver these to the Wayne NJ show on the 12th/13th, at the spring 2020 Wayne show, or to the Union IL show in June 2020.
These records are for sale as a group. The approx. 260 cylinder records consist of these:
* Approx. 100 2-minute wax and celluloid cylinders in boxes (29 with original matching lids). Mostly Edison with a number of Indestructibles and a smattering of Columbias.
* Approx. 140 4-minute Blue Amberols, most in boxes (36 original matching lids), some without. Many direct-recorded titles. Most numbers seem to be in the 2000-3000s, with one or two 4000s.
* 15 Edison wax Amberols in boxes (7 with original matching lids).
* 6 4-minute Indestructibles.
The condition of these records ranges from E to G-. Many have clean, shiny surfaces and play beautifully. Others have slight mold spots, but I believe all are playable. I didn't play all of these records, but pulled a dozen or more to get an idea of condition.
Titles range from Fox Trots to Waltzes to WWI songs and a few religious. It's a mix, but heavily weighted toward popular titles/artists.
The pictures will show the general condition of these records, and I included the dirtiest Blue Amberol in the bunch so you can see how clean these records are. My friend played these and stored them in a cabinet.
When buying in bulk, you should get a discount. If priced at only $3 each, this group would be $780, but I rounded down to $750. Feel free to make an offer if you think this is too high.
Thanks for looking!
