FOR SALE: Front-mount Victor P for restoration - $650
Posted: Fri Oct 04, 2019 5:41 pm
Okay....for all you GOT fans, "winter is coming" so it's time to think about rounding up some dead of winter restoration projects.
For your consideration, here is a Victor front-mount Model P that needs a redo. Low serial number 9159. All that's missing is a slotted crank, otherwise the machine is complete and 100% original as found. Just the way you like to find them. This machine has the correct black and brass horn that is pretty straight and the correct long-throat Exhibition reproducer. But the reproducer thumb screw is broken off inside the needle bar. The machine needs some clean-up and re-finish work as well as a rebuild on the reproducer. With cleaning, it looks like the oxidized copper finish on the bedplate and support arm will come back to life. Oh...and it runs great...no motor issues other than a good cleaning.
This project is perfect for those long winter days.
Asking $650. Add for shipping in two boxes via Fed Ex Ground from Zip Code 94954
Cashiers check preferred.
If you are seriously thinking about this one, drop me a PM and I'll send you additional photos via Dropbox.
