Hello,
I recently started a rebuild of this Victor one spring motor from a VV-IV, I took out the two screws the hold the assembly in place, I can't seem to figure out how to remove the shaft.
Any help would be appreciated.

The ratchet wheel is pinned to the shaft. Locate the pin & drive it out with a small pin punch, while at the same time supporting the shaft. Then, remove the ratchet. After that, give the shaft a few taps with a brass hammer, driving it inward, towards the spring barrel. That will pop off the cover on the opposite side. Then unhook the shaft from the spring.

Update,
I removed the springs, it was pretty simple, I noted that the spring goes counter-clockwise, am I correct?

I'd bet yes. The winding is clockwise directly onto the spring arbor, isn't it? This is at the bull gear side of the barrel, opposite the lid. When seen from the lid side, the arbor winds the spring counterclockwise, then.
