This record was one of a set of three in a presentation album given to about 200 guests at a charity lunch, organised by The British Charities Association and held at the Hotel Metropole, London, to coincide with the first releases of Metropole records in 1928. There was a competition in which entrants had to guess which would be the top selling title out of several selected from the first releases, and a proportion of the record's sale proceeds was donated to the hospitals charity.
