sold $1525.. Improved 7 " Childrens record Ebay V-RARE

Post by fmblizz »

I just listed this nice double sided "7" inch IMPROVED record on Ebay..

Both sides are Mother Goose Nursery Rhythms and plays well with some light background noise.

Hard to find a 1900 double sided 7 INCH record let alone one that was made specifically for the entertainment of children 120 years ago..

Was recently told this record was made and included with the Eldridge Johnson Toy phonograph in a very limited run.. A-490 & A-491.

The Ebay listing https://www.ebay.com/itm/7-IMPROVED-REC ... Swe0xdtgWQ has been updated.

I have just included/updated the listing with some documentation from Baumbach reference book LOOK FOR THE DOG, in regard to this double sided 7 inch record being specifically supplied with each Eldridge Johnson TOY PHONOGRAPH.

If you are fortunate enough to have a Victor Toy machine in your collection,,, this is literally the icing on the cake..

This is a No Reserve auction so the record will sell tomorrow night to the highest bidder.

Congratulations on getting such a great price on this great little record. I definitely threw my hat in the ring but came up a little short on this one. Congratulations to both the buyer and seller!!

Record geeks be crazy... I know... I is one!

Congrats on the sale. That one will likely not come up again- I thought it would go higher, actually.
