Modernola PhonoLamp scarcity

Hello all,
I am looking to purchase a Modernola but the lamp part is missing. In your expert opinions.... How hard would it be to find the lamp parts? I would need the rear mount, wooden center spindle, (electronics I can make), and a shade.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure what you mean by "rear mount". A wood worker with a lathe should be able to turn out a spindle. You might be able to repurpose a shade or have one made. I don't think it is too much of a project. If the price is good, go for it! Jerry B.

Yes, a simple spindle is easy to turn on a lathe. See pictures below of our Modernola with a shade we had custom made for it. Also, that tone arm looks like a Sonora tone arm. Below is a picture of the Modernola tone arm. Cheers, Russie

If you're really looking for original wood spindle and shade I'd suggest you pass on the project. You're not likely to ever see those parts separately in good original usable condition. Jerry B.

I bought a reproduction lamp post with old pull-chain sockets at Union about ten years ago, but I can’t recall who I bought it from although they were set up along the back windows. After I finished it, it was indistinguishable from an original.

I guess repros would be fine then.. Who makes them?
I have looked and looked online to no end...
