Here's a nice copy of BOTH Aeolian Vocalion WW1 commemorative splatter shellac records- 12000 with the special labels and 22024 with the standard issue labels. These are quite stunning visually as you can see- 22024 shows up occasionally on eBay but 12000 is quite tough to find. Here they both are together! 12000 has some light needle markings on the lead in "dead wax"- almost not noticeable- so we'll call that one E-. 22024 is a solid E, with some crinkling of the label in the title area as is sometimes seen on these discs. Please double click the pictures for details. Please note that these are vertical (hill- and- dale) recordings.
