And you thought this would be another shot-out machine on Ebay or CL.

Brad,
I think your cat is confused. Your cat should be thinking that it has 9 lives, not thinking that your IX lives.

If I caught a cat on any of my machines, they would have quite a few less than nine lives.
Perhaps if they were declawed or something. Scratches on my nice veneer I do not want.
I'm a dog guy.

Declawed
I cant stand cats myself, but I would never wish that upon any cat.
I might chase those off my machines with a sprayer full of water though
Spin78, aren't you worried about lose cat hair getting under the turntable & into the motor??
I really dont think cats and gramophones make a good combination personally. It just doesn't look right somehow.

I don't mind her inside the Credenza, but I do keep the doors closed over the horn for fear the grill cloth would become a "scratching post"

I said OR SOMETHING, lol.
Wrap their feet in tape, for all I care, as long as no scratching/clawing is possible.

Actually he only went up there a couple times. Seems like since we got him
he has to try out every possible "lounge area" in the house. Now he hangs
out on a rug upstairs for the most part.

Trudy prefers Edison beds,
..while Chester used to look cute on top of the Credenza, until I discovered that he had gnawed, like a gerbil, all 4 corners of the lid. arrgh.
