My new Columbia phonograph in a Charles II cabinet

Hello everyone,
I decided to pull the trigger today on a Columbia phonograph in the Charles II Cabinet. I had assumed it was whole but unfortunately I’m gonna have to find some pieces. It is missing the internal horn for one. It is missing the light shade that goes in the back of the Inside of the cabinet. It’s missing the actual back lol and the tonearm is broken up.
I have one photo of an original. I cant find anything else besides an Ad.

Anyone have a 15 inch wide by 9 inches tall by 14 inches deep interior horn?

Is this the machine that was / is on e-Bay now? I remember seeing one that looked just like this very recently. But did not save it and can't find it. At least with the effort put forth.

Strange that someone would remove the horn, but leave the phono in place. Someone may have been starting to convert it to a radio cabinet or something else, but never finished. You may end up having to build a horn for it, or finding a common junker cabinet and modifying the horn to fit this one. The good thing is, Columbia tone arm assemblies are not that hard to find and there are just as many good ones out there as shattered ones.

I've never seen one of these in person and I doubt that many were sold. It's still a nice find, even in the condition it's in.

Hello guys,
This was never on eBay but he had it on FB Marketplace. I think he still has it listed, lol...

I think I need to get the gold setup.... It just looks better? No? Yes?

:)

This machine was a premium special order and I'm sure it came with gold parts. It's a beautiful cabinet and when you are finished restoring it, a real treasure as well.
