that would be awesome. It could be very accessible if it were designed to fit victor elbow & horn. giving me ideas . Well as of now my craftsmanship skills are very much lacking, but it would be a cool project.

It would be worth casting in zinc if possible. I am not sure where to find an original to mold from but it would be interesting to take measurements and build a copy in balsa first.

The hard question is would it be worth drilling holes in original Edison phonographs? No. It wouldn't.

It would have to fit the holes for a cygnet back bracket.

I don't believe any drilling is necessary. A metal piece rests on the case, and little rod lodges between the feed screw and carriage rod posts, certainly a cool and convenient design.

No holes are drilled and no modification of the machine are needed to attach the back bracket
