That's a Phon-Arm attachment:
I think the auction house estimate is way low for one of these.
More like $1.5-$2K range
I have the model for a Edison Home

I wish this accessory was available as a replica. Does anyone else want to see that?

Hey Cool! With some of these, we could all
have Edison Victrolas!

Considering that Olas of all types are inside horn machines... ah, I see you are just joking.

that would be awesome. It could be very accessible if it were designed to fit victor elbow & horn. giving me ideas

. Well as of now my craftsmanship skills are very much lacking, but it would be a cool project.

It would be worth casting in zinc if possible. I am not sure where to find an original to mold from but it would be interesting to take measurements and build a copy in balsa first.
The hard question is would it be worth drilling holes in original Edison phonographs? No. It wouldn't.
It would have to fit the holes for a cygnet back bracket.

I don't believe any drilling is necessary. A metal piece rests on the case, and little rod lodges between the feed screw and carriage rod posts, certainly a cool and convenient design.

No holes are drilled and no modification of the machine are needed to attach the back bracket
Here is the Home bracket:
